More than 15 years ago, the Emden shipyard “MFH” launched a small series of yachts tailored to the local Wadden Sea: the “Tide 34.” Now the company is growing into a major European yacht builder. For Erich Wilts, the East Frisian circumnavigator from Leer who died in December 2022, the local Wadden Sea was one of the most challenging and beautiful sailing areas in the world. The dynamics of the ocean currents here are largely determined by the tides. “Tide” is also the name of the boats built by the yacht builder Maritime Faserverbundtechnik Haring from Emden, or MFH for short.

Emden/Harlingen – MFH-Emden (Maritime Faserverbundtechnik Haring) and NAZ-Schepen will join forces on June 1, 2025: MFH-Emden has acquired the Dutch yacht builder NAZ-Schepen. The merger will create a forward-looking company in the field of yacht building and composite technology with the new brand names TWN Yachting and MFH Composite.

Die Tage auf der HISWA24 waren gefüllt mit interessierten und visierten Besuchern. Unsere TIDE25 und TIDE36 fanden viel Zuspruch aber natürlich war die MURISURI (BM53) der Eyecatcher schlechthin.

Es konnten viele Kontakte geknüpft werden und wir können heute schon sagen:

Wir werden sicherlich auch im nächsten Jahr wieder präsent sein. Dann mit unserer neuen – sich derzeit im Bau befindlichen TIDE34 und vermutlich auch mit unserem neuen Prototypen TIDE24M
